The steel manufacturer Saarstahl AG is investing in a new cooling bed with a directly adjoining finishing line on rolling mill 14 at its Völklingen-Nauweiler location. PLAKOMA GmbH is carrying out the contract. The facility will essentially consist of a 130m long rake-type cooling bed followed by layer roller tables and three abrasive cutting machines with longitudinal length stoppers. read more >
